The Bury branch of the Yorkshire Building Society, with the support of the Foundation, raised funds to provide a new goat shed for Pimhole Community Farm. The inner-city based community project gives children in the local area the opportunity to see animals up close and have a hands on experience of rural life, which they may otherwise not have the chance to.
Healthy Roots Project - Middlefield Community Gardens Play Area - a charity supporting children based in the Middlefield of Aberdeen, received a boost to their fundraising activities following a contribution from the Charitable Foundation.
