The Foundation's aim is to be completely funded by the Society's members who participate in the Yorkshire Building Society's innovative Small Change Big Difference Scheme. Under this scheme members generously donate the pence amount of their savings interest or rounded up mortgage interest (maximum 99p per account per year) to the Foundation.
With the help of member's invaluable recommendations who participate in the SCBD scheme, the Trustees can decide which charities to support. The Foundation can therefore continue to build on the number of good causes that have received help within local communities in which the Society operates.
We would like 1 million Society members to donate to the scheme. If you are a member of the Society and do not currently participate, why not join by completing the Be One in a Million form today?
