Key features:

  • Peace of mind knowing that you will be able to meet your monthly mortgage payments if you are unable to work, through accident, sickness or unemployment.
  • Unemployment cover includes carer cover, helping you meet your monthly mortgage payments should you voluntarily leave your work to become a carer for an immediate member of your family.
  • Underwritten by Pinnacle Insurance plc, one of the country's leading insurance companies.
  • You can apply if you have been in continuous employment of at least 16 hours a week, or self-employed, for 6 months prior to application. In certain instances existing borrowers applying for cover may be subject to individual underwriting
  • You don't have to have a medical examination nor will you have to fill out a detailed health questionnaire.
  • For new borrowers, cover begins on completion of the mortgage. For existing borrowers, cover starts once you have applied and we confirm your cover is in place.
  • If you have a joint mortgage, cover is arranged on an individual basis in order to meet individual customer needs.
  • Existing borrowers can apply for cover as part of an additional loan application, transfer of equity or product transfer.
