How to log in

Your Password

Once you are registered for the YBS Agency online service you will be provided with a temporary password. You will be asked to change this password on your first attempt at logging in to the site.

Once you are logged in you can choose to change your password at any time by clicking on the change buttons on your menu page.

Logging in

You will be asked to enter

  • Your customer number
  • Your login surname.
  • Your date of birth
  • 3 random characters from your 8 character password.

Forgotten your password or locked out?

If you forget your password or if you enter your details incorrectly 3 times and are locked out please telephone 0845 1 200 100. The Member Contact Centre will then either reset your password or unlock your log in immediately. You will then be able to access the system and continue your business.

Please note: for your added security, you will only have 15 minutes from the time the Member Contact Centre resets the password to log in and enter a new password. If you fail to reset your password you will be locked out and must once again contact the Member Contact Centre to be reset your password.

Logging Out

To log out, click on the right hand image 'log out'. This will end your session with Yorkshire Building Society's online service. We recommend you do this to avoid unauthorised access to your account.

Time Out

For security reasons your on-line session will time-out if not used for more than 15 minutes. If this should happen the system will automatically redirect your browser to the log in screen.

Do's and don'ts

  • Do have cookies set to 'on' in your web browser.
  • Always begin your session by logging in through a page which has a 'log in' link.
