Three more award wins for Yorkshire mortgages

On 2 November 2017, the Bank of England announced that the Bank Base Rate would increase with immediate effective from 0.25% to 0.50%.
Yorkshire Building Society is celebrating its tenth award win of the year so far after receiving further accolades for its market-leading mortgages.
The UK’s second largest mutual was presented with the award for best building society mortgage provider at the annual Moneyfacts Awards, which recognises those financial providers who consistently provide products and services that best meet the needs of consumers.

In addition, at the Moneywise Mortgage Awards, Yorkshire was awarded the best lender for first-time buyers for the fifth year in a row and best lender for discount mortgages.
Moneywise drew up shortlists based on providers who consistently offer the most competitive rates using best buy data from broker Trinity Financial over the past 12 months.
