Transferring & Making Payments

This is where you add money to your account, set up or delete accounts that you can transfer money to and make transfers to other accounts.

• There is a £5,000 per day transaction limit for external transfers, unless
• The transfer account was nominated when the account was opened, OR
• The transfer account was nominated more than 30 days ago.

Manage transfer accounts

These are accounts that you can transfer money in to. You can register 1 YBS account and 1 external account.

Manage your transfer accounts using the following options.

Add	Allows you to add a new transfer account (up to the maximum allowed). Note: Your new account will appear in the account list but you cannot make any transfers to it until the following day
Remove	Allows you to delete destination transfer accounts you have previously set up. Note: The account will be removed from the account list but will not be deleted from our systems until the following day.

 

Make a transfer

Use this option to make a one-off transfer to one of your transfer accounts, or to a new destination account. However, you cannot set up or amend any transfers that are due within 3 days.

Note: If you make more than one transfer out per account year, you will lose your annual account bonus.

 

Make a deposit

This option is for you to transfer money into your account using a debit card.

Note: The transfer takes 2 days to be processed through the banking system. Interest starts to be earned when we receive the money.
