Why are we one of the market leaders in Share Plans administration?

Yorkshire Building Society is a mutual organisation run for the benefits of our members and has no external shareholders, we are the only mutual organisation administering share plans. This enables us to continually evolve the service we offer our corporate clients and their employees in a cost efficient manner.

YBS is one of the largest building societies in the UK with 1.9 million members and assets of £17.6 billion. YBS has a credit rating of A2/P-1, reflecting its prudent lending policies, good financial fundamentals and high cost efficiency (Source: Moody's Investment Services 2004). YBS employs over 2,200 staff, located in 131 branch throughout the UK and our Head Office in Bradford.

Corporate Business Department was established in 1980 with the introduction of Sharesave (SAYE) in the Finance Act. We are dedicated to providing Share Plan trustee and administration services for both Sharesave and Share Incentive Plans.
