You can hold shares in one of the following three ways.

  1. Certificated account - may be suitable for customers that:
    • Do not wish to deal on a regular basis
    • Wish to continue to use traditional trading methods
    • Prefer to hold share certificates
    • Available to both registered and un-regsitered clients
    • Available to telephone clients only
  2. CREST account - may be suitable for customers that:
    • Deal on a regular basis
    • Prefer not to hold share certificates
    • Like to receive all the benefits of their name appearing on the share register
    • Available to registered clients only
    • Available to both telephone and internet clients
  3. Nominee account - may be suitable for customers that:
    • Deal on a regular basis
    • Prefer not to hold share certificates
    • Have access to European, North American, South African and Australian securities
    • Want the administration taken care of for them
    • Available to registered clients only
    • Available to both telephone and internet clients
