2007 Awards

Moneyfacts Group Awards are totally independent and are presented for product excellence and outstanding service.

These highly coveted awards are presented annually and this year, in June 2007, Yorkshire Building Society won the Best Fixed Rate Mortgage Provider (without extended redemption redemption tie-ins) - 5 years & over.

2006 Awards

Lending Excellence Gold Award - Lending Strategy magazine.

In November 2006, Lending Strategy Magazine awarded Yorkshire Building Society a 'Lending Excellence Gold' Award, one of only six mortgage lenders to receive this award which is voted for by the public.

We also won two of the Lending Excellence Category Awards - one for transparency and one for process speed.
 

 

Lender of the Year - Mortgage Magazine 2006

Mortgage Magazine have named us 'Lender of the Year' for the second year running.

"The Yorkshire has won because of its breadth of products, offering great value in both the long and the short term. It has won for its innovative products, designed to help borrowers who may otherwise struggle to be accepted for or to fund a mortgage." (Mortgage Magazine)
