New Security Measure

During September we introduced our new transaction confirmation service, an additional security measure for certain online transactions.

This service provides additional security through an automated call using a phone number you have registered with us and on which you can be contacted at the time of the transaction.

MutualPlus Branch Sharing Service now withdrawn

Mutual Plus logo Further to our previous notice, the MutualPlus Branch Sharing Service which allowed you to manage your Yorkshire Building Society mortgage or savings account via the branches of Britannia (who are now part of Co-operative Financial Services) has now been withdrawn.

The service was withdrawn due to steadily declining demand for MutualPlus over the past few years, which meant it was no longer economic to maintain the service.
