About MutualPlus

Mutual Plus logoMore branches

We have teamed up with Britannia Building Society to provide a great service to members of both Societies. This innovative service, called MutualPlus, means that members of either Society will be able to make simple transactions at each other's branches.

MutualPlus gives you a wider choice, as we have extended our transaction services into places where we have no existing branches.

With MutualPlus, you can pay your mortgage and make withdrawals and deposits on a number of our accounts at any Britannia branch.

To pay money into your account, you will need your passbook or account number. To take money out of your account, you will need your passbook and an additional piece of identification with your signature, such as your passport, driving licence or credit card.

The arrangement significantly expands the networks of both societies without adding to the costs of either, providing real value to members. Yorkshire has 80 branches in towns and districts where the Britannia is not present and Britannia has 135 branches where Yorkshire does not.

The two societies share a common philosophy - that being mutually owned allows us to provide better value and services to members. MutualPlus makes it easier for you to transact and shows our commitment to being with you one hundred percent.
