The programme is undoubtedly challenging and to get the most out of the programme and be successful in the role, Trainees will need to demonstrate a real commitment and focus to working through the development programme within the timeframes detailed in each placement overview. The following are some key attributes required for this role:

• Taking responsibility and ownership for their personal development and being committed to effectively completing the placements within timeframes which may involve a commitment beyond normal working hours
• Seeking support from the Branch/Area/Regional Managers
• Careful time management and planning of workloads
• Working hard to become a key member of the Area Management team
