Purpose of role: To conduct non-advised mortgage telephone interviews and associated protection sales in line with FSA regulation requirements. To provide an excellent level of service to all existing, new and prospective customers. To generate quality mortgage, investment and protection leads to support the society to achieve key business targets.
Professional qualifications or essential experience required:
Good telephone manner, proven sales skills, confident with a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills. Previous financial service experience would be beneficial. A willingness to study for CEMAP would be an advantage.

Accountabilities:
- To satisfy the requirements of the Member Contact Centre Training and Competency Scheme by achieving and maintaining competency levels as defined under the scheme.
- To ensure the customer sales process is adhered to.
- To promote the Society’s General Insurance product range to new and existing customers.
- To generate commission income from Legal and General investment referrals and lending referrals for wider needs.
- To assess the needs and promote the benefits of Legal and General mortgage related protection to new and existing customers.
