Browser preferences
We have designed our web site so you can customise certain elements to your own preference. You may prefer a larger text size or find another font easier to read. You might find a different colour font link easier to find on the page or prefer to view the site without images.
Here?s how to set up your preferences:
PC Internet Explorer 5, 5.5 & 6
- Use the Tools - Internet Options - General tab, and select the Colours button. Here you can select the text, link and background colours you want. Use the Accessibility button, and select the Ignore colours specified on web pages check box to use these colours always.
- To change the text size go to View ? Text size and select one of the variations.
PC Netscape 6 & 7
- Use the Edit - Preferences menu and select the Colours item in the Appearance tree. Here you can select text, link and background colours you want. Select the Use my chosen colours... option to use these colours always.
- Use the View - Text Size menu to change text size.
PC Mozilla Firefox 1
- Use the Tools - Options menu. Click the General icon at the left. Here use the Fonts & Colors button, where you can select text and link colours. Tick Always use my fonts/colours to use these colours always.
- Use the View - Text Size menu to change text size.
Mac Internet Explorer 5
- Use Explorer ? Preferences menu. Click the Web Browser list item on the left. Here select the Web Content list item to display and change your web text and link text colours. Select the language/fonts list item to change your default fonts.
- Use the View ? Text zoom menu to change text size.
