You can request a redemption statement and/or title deeds using our secure online form.
Redemption statements will be sent to you by fax. This will normally be on the same day if we receive the request before 1pm and on the following working day if received after this time.
There is no charge for the first requested redemption statement per mortgage account, however a £10 fee will be applied to the account for any subsequent requests.
Please note that mortgage payments will only be included in the redemption figure once the funds have fully cleared. This takes 5 working days from the date the payment is made to the mortgage account. You should confirm with your client whether a payment has been made in this period as any subsequent redemption statement request which is necessary due to the non-appearance of an uncleared payment will incur a £10 fee.
If you decide to redeem by cheque please ensure that you use the redemption figure stated under 'Redemption payment by cheque'. In addition please include sufficient daily interest to allow for postage where payment is made by cheque.
Title Deeds will be sent out by Recorded Delivery on the working day following receipt of the request. We do not hold title deeds for any properties in England and Wales where the mortgage completed after January 2008.
Please note:
You will need to be a member of our panel of conveyancers in order to request a redemption statement or title deeds. Find out how you can join our panel.
If you experience any problems whilst completing the form, or you have any further questions regarding this process, call 0841 200200.
