There's been a rapid growth in smartphone internet browsing. We've seen a growing number of our customers visiting the site using their phones. But viewing a full website on a small screen is not easy. So we've taken the opportunity to develop a version of the Yorkshire Building Society website that is specifically tailored for smartphones.

What does the mobile site offer?

  • All our products and services are there, but the amount of content has been reduced to what our customers might want quickly or on the move.
  • We've included our ‘Ask a Question’ search tool so that customers can get all the information they need just by typing a question.
  • The site structure and navigation is easy and intuitive for smartphone users.
  • The design of the site means that it is quick to use over 3G networks.
  • There's a comprehensive branch finder too so you can find your nearest branch or agencies wherever you are, with addresses, phone numbers, opening hours, maps and even directions.

How do I find the mobile site?

The home page of the full YBS website will detect if users are accessing the site using a mobile device. Just type www.ybs.co.uk into the browser on your smartphone and you'll be taken to the mobile site automatically.
