To help reduce the chance of an unauthorised person accessing your account, you’ll be locked out after multiple failed attempts at logging in. If this happens, you can reset your password online or you can call us to reset your password over the phone. We’ll also log you out if you’ve been inactive for a period of time – just in case you step away from your computer for a while – so you’re not leaving your online account open and unattended for other people to access.
While we’ll do everything we can to help ensure your account is secure, there are a few things you can do, too. This includes:
- Never revealing your password or giving out confidential information to any unauthorised party.
- Making sure your computer has up-to-date security software and firewalls.
- Logging out of your account once you’ve finished with any transactions.
