Setting up regular transfers

If you need to make regular payments, whether it’s paying a bill or organising your rent, setting up a standing order could make the process a lot easier for you. You can choose the timescale, how often the payments are made and the amount you’d like to send, all from your computer or mobile – so that’s one less thing to think about.

How to set up a standing order

Before you get started, make sure you have all of the information you need to hand. You’ll need the details of the destination account, how much you want to send and how often you’d like the payments to be made.

Once you’ve done that and have the details to hand, setting up regular payments can be done quickly and easily online via the payment options in your online account.

Once you’ve filled in this information your standing order will be set up and your regular payments will be ready to go, so you won’t have to worry about organising it in the future. You just need to make sure there are sufficient funds in your account so any standing orders can be paid and to avoid any charges.

Not all of our savings accounts allow standing orders to be set up so make sure you check your account details before proceeding.
