Tom Simpson is Managing Director at YBS Commercial Mortgages; a position he’s held since June 2019, where he led the launch of the business and its subsequent expansion.

YBS Commercial Mortgages is the commercial arm of Yorkshire Building Society, providing tailored loan solutions for corporate and personal buy-to-let, and commercial mortgages with an award-winning quality of service to both trading business and property investors based in the UK. 

Tom has a wealth of experience in Financial Services which also includes over a decade in senior Risk roles prior to taking up the helm of YBS Commercial Mortgages. As the business approaches its fifth year of trading, Tom’s focus is firmly set on ensuring that the strategic direction for YBS Commercial Mortgages is aligned through every touch point to best serve customer and broker needs.
