In the next few weeks we'll be improving the way you can manage your account online using your mobile.
That’s why, after careful consideration, we’ve closed some of our Yorkshire Building Society branches.
Details of the branches that are affected are in the table below.
Over time we have seen fewer of our members using branches and an increasing number using the internet to manage their accounts. We are still fully committed to offering a face-to-face service but also need to recognise the evolving ways in which customers want to transact.

Yorkshire Building Society carefully selects businesses to act as local agencies on our behalf. Agencies are able to offer Yorkshire Building Society savings accounts and simple savings transactions. There are some differences between Yorkshire Building Society branches and Yorkshire Building Society agencies such as daily and weekly withdrawal limits, for more details please click here.

Some Yorkshire Building Society accounts can currently be accessed and managed online. You can see if any accounts you hold with us can be managed online and find out how to register for online services by viewing our managing your YBS accounts page.
Once you register for online access to your accounts, you can also use the same password to manage your account over the telephone (subject to the terms of your account). When you call us, you’ll be asked for a number of characters from your online password so that we can verify your identity.
We understand that this may be a significant change for some customers and we’re here to help you find the best way forward following the closure of these branches.
