The Charitable Foundation is just one of the ways the Society gives something back to the communities where our members and colleagues live and work.
Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation was established in 1998 as a registered charity (number 1069082) and a company limited by guarantee. The Charitable Foundation is independent of the Yorkshire Building Society Group and is run by five trustees, including three who are independent of the Society. It's their happy job to decide which good causes will benefit from our support.
Here's how the Charitable Foundation has helped:
And we're continuing to do more and more. As well as individual donations, we also have a campaign every year - Make a Difference Week - which invites members of the Society to nominate charities and good causes to receive a small donation. This is funded by members who participate in the Society's Small Change Big Difference® scheme.
If you're a registered charity or charitable cause, you could get financial support from the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation.
An easy and valuable way for members to donate the pence of their interest every year.
An annual charitable event where members of the community across the UK can nominate their favourite good causes.
