Look out for a change in the appearance of your YBS website soon. We are redesigning the site and will be launching the new website in the next few weeks.
Yorkshire Building Society has been named the First-Time Mortgage Buyers’ Choice at the Moneyfacts Consumer Awards 2019 for the fourth year running.
Thousands of consumers voted for the Yorkshire to receive the award for its dedication to first-time buyers at the annual event that highlights providers who offer the best service and value across the financial industry.
Award winners are chosen based on the feedback of more than 180,000 consumers who complete the annual independent Moneyfacts Consumer Survey.
Ben Merritt, senior mortgage manager at Yorkshire Building Society, said:
We’re so pleased to have retained this award for the fourth year in a row, which is a great achievement considering it’s always voted for by consumers.
We’re committed to helping first-time buyers take that initial step on the property ladder and have introduced a number of mortgages within the last year to reinforce that. We’re happy this is being recognised by borrowers.
Michelle Monck, Head of Digital at Moneyfacts, said: “Yorkshire Building Society has been named First-Time Mortgage Buyers’ Choice at the 2019 Moneyfacts Consumer Awards for the fourth successive year.
The award is based on the provision of technically superior products and excellent consumer feedback from the Moneyfacts Consumer independent annual survey. Offering generous incentives and benefits across its consistently competitive range of products has seen it gain a well-deserved fourth win in this category.
The Moneyfacts Consumer Survey was conducted from 1 October to 16 November 2018.
