Society named first time mortgage buyers' choice for third year running
Yorkshire Building Society has been named the First-Time Mortgage Buyers’ Choice at the Moneyfacts Consumer Awards 2018 – the third consecutive year the mutual has received the accolade.
Thousands of consumers voted for the Yorkshire to receive the award for its dedication to first-time buyers at the annual event that highlights providers who offer the best service and value across the financial industry.
Award winners are chosen based on the feedback of more than 160,000 consumers who complete the annual independent Moneyfacts Consumer Survey.
Jayms Brooks, Senior Digital Marketing Manager at Moneyfacts, said:
Yorkshire Building Society’s consistently competitive range of mortgage deals, specialist offers and incentives has seen it complete a well-deserved hat-trick of wins in this category.
Chris Irwin, senior product manager at Yorkshire Building Society, said:
We’re committed to helping first-time buyers get onto the property ladder and are proud that this has been recognised by consumers.
To receive the same award for the third year running is a great achievement for the Society and reinforces our desire, as a mutual, to help aspiring first-time buyers get a place they can call home.
The Moneyfacts Consumer Survey was conducted from October to November 2017.
