Our Charitable Foundation is proud to support charities such as Haworth RDA and we’re delighted to see the donation be put to good use.
I nominated the charity for a donation after volunteering last year and seeing the amazing work the team does. They have such a positive impact on the people that use their services that I wanted to provide them with as much support as possible.
Jane Lawrence, Haworth RDA Fundraiser, said:
We are so thankful for this incredibly generous donation from Yorkshire Building Society and its members. Haworth RDA aims to help people with disabilities through interaction with our horses. Horse riding improves core strength, flexibility, suppleness of limb and develops fine and gross motor skills. In addition, the social interaction increases confidence, self-esteem and social skills for our riders.
