Verifying your identity online

To get your account up and running for you as soon as possible, we'll ask you to upload documents as part of your application.

We’ll send you an e-mail at the end of your application, including a link to HooYu.

Important note: this is the only time we'll ask for personal information via email.

Please complete the verification as quickly as possible so you can get started with your account. This is what we’ll ask for:

One form of photographic identification listed below:
Signed UK or Foreign Passport
EU or UK Full /Provisional Driving Licence
Residence permit issued by Home Office to EU National
Foreign National Identity Card
A short live video using your mobile phone front camera or webcam to capture your image to compare with your photo ID

Make sure the documents you use match the information entered in your application. You’ll need a video recording device (mobile phone or web-camera) to complete the HooYu check.

If you don't have your documents with you, you can choose to do this later.
