Yorkshire Building Society has launched a search for new apprentices across the region to come and work for one of the UK’s largest building societies as part of its Emerging Talent Programme.
The Society is offering up to 18 apprenticeships across three programmes that includes IT & Digital, Customer Services, and Technology Services at its Leeds and Bradford main office sites and its branch network.
All apprentices at Yorkshire Building Society are paid above the Living Wage and are recruited on a permanent contract, which entitles them to all the same benefits as a non-apprentice.
The Society is offering Level 6 Advanced Level Apprenticeship qualifications for its IT & Digital programme and Level 3 Advanced Level Apprenticeship qualifications for its Customer Services and Technology Services programmes.
Hannah Porter, senior manager for talent resourcing and inclusion at Yorkshire Building Society, said:
We’re committed to providing great career pathways for our apprentices and fostering an inclusive culture for them to thrive.
We’ve designed our Emerging Talent Programmes to help people turn their strengths and interests into an exciting and challenging career. We’ll give them opportunities to experiment, learn and develop. We’ll also champion and support our apprentices every step of the way.
At Yorkshire Building Society, we value colleagues from a range of backgrounds and the diversity of thoughts that brings. If you’ve recently left school or college or have graduated from university, we’ve a range of opportunities to get your career off to a fantastic start. Or perhaps you’re looking for a change of career or to return to the workplace after some time out, if so, our apprenticeships would be ideal to use your transferrable skills or for a new direction in our career.
